Minmae: Since Before Inertia CD-R $2
- Velvety, velvety, velvety songs of the highest quality from the able
mind and fingers of Mr. Sean Brooks. Those expecting the fuzz-and-delay-pedal
freakouts of Minmae past will be surprised by the relatively direct approach
of these songs--the emphasis here is squarely on melody and song.
There's still tons of pleasing texture here, though--the mixture of 4-track
and hard-disk recording techniques yields both immediacy and a little sheen.
I'm proud of my drumming, too.
